Bible Verse of the Week:
2 Chronicles 7:14
"If we pray, seek turn; then God hears, forgives, heals."
"See You at the Pole"
Please join members of Student Council for this event on Wednesday, September 25 at 7:30 a.m. We will meet at the flag pole in front of the building to pray. Enjoy fellowship and donuts with your friends as part of the Global Week of Student Prayer. For more information, visit the "Student Life" tab and click on "Student Council".
All Brighton Academy students and staff will have their pictures taken on Wednesday, October 2 between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Photos taken at this time will be used in the yearbook, so every student and teacher needs to participate.
Families wishing to have non-Brighton students photographed can also participate in this event. Flyers with details about purchasing picture packages will be sent home on Wednesday, September 18.
Annual Bonfire and Cookout
All students are invited to our annual bonfire and hayride on October 4th from 6:30-9:00 p.m. This is our fall party and includes cooking dinner out, a bonfire, paddle boat, volleyball, hayrides and lots of fun and fellowship! This chaperoned event is a great way for students and families to enjoy a terrific fall evening.
Grade school students must be accompanied by a parent.
Sign up to attend at the front desk.
Cost is $5 per person for food and to give to the family hosting for gas and supplies. Checks may be payable to Brighton Academy Student Council. We need all to sign up so we know how much food to purchase. Food will consists of hot dogs, chips, veggies, s-mores, and a variety of drinks (soda, juice, water).
This is a highly attended event, and we have a safe "huge yard" on a private property. Please let your students know that we are guests and we need to follow rules: pick up after ourselves, respect the property and each other so we will have the chance to be invited back to this exclusive location
Location: 31555 W. 111th St., Olathe, KS 66061
Parents, if you are interested in chaperoning please let me know. I would like 8 adults to help.
Hope to see you there!
